ARCHIE CHIN, Associate

Archie is an associate in the Los Angeles office. His primary area of practice during his legal career has been in the realm of Insurance Defense and the defense of self-insured claims. He has been the primary handling attorney in the defense of claims involving product liability, premises liability, construction defect, construction accident, motor vehicle negligence, medical malpractice, governmental tort liability, employment claims, professional liability and other types of general liability claims. His file responsibilities included handling all discovery and depositions (taking and defending party, percipient witness and expert depositions), investigation, pleadings, law and motion practice and trial preparation, as well as ADR (mediation, binding and non-binding arbitration). Archie also has significant first, as well as second chair, jury trial and bench trial experience in both unlimited and limited jurisdiction courts.

Archie also has experience in the area of business litigation, including the prosecution and defense of breach of contract, business torts and commercial litigation claims. He also has a transactional practice background in the area of Public Finance and Municipal Bond law involving general obligations bonds, revenue bonds, certificates of participation financing and lease financing. Archie also had his own law firm, handling a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters, including civil litigation, commercial collections and business law.
