In June, three Ericksen Arbuthnot associates participated in City Chase USA in San Francisco. The one-day event is “part obstacle course, part scavenger hunt” that tests teamwork and resourcefulness. The teams were only allowed to walk or take public transit to their challenges throughout the city and had to decipher clues to figure out their next destination. Each team had to complete ten Chase Points within six hours to finish the race.
According to teammate Natalie Seid, the event was “an adventure of a lifetime.” She and Fateh Sahota were one of the top ten all-female teams to finish the event. Associate William Wong also competed in the event with paralegal Dan Pocklington.
During the course of the day, the teams found their way to ten different Chase Points. Their challenges included wide-ranging activities:
In addition to having a fun and tiring day, the teams also helped raise money. The San Francisco event raised $13,000 for Camp Kesem, a summer camp for kids with a parent who has (or has had) cancer.
